baguio city is not only known as the summer capital of the country, but also the ukay ukay capital!

ukay ukay shops are filled with tourists, yes, tourists, mostly during the holidays *christmas and new year* and during panagbenga.

panagbenga, also known as flower festival, is an annual event in baguio city, held during february. and during panagbenga, people from different parts of the country visit the city and this is seen as a time when ukay ukay tinderas come home with all their paninda naubos na.
some celebrities were also spotted buying ukay ukay items here in baguio city, gaya nina

movies im dying to watch..

the reasons why i have not watched these yet, its because they are rare. as in, DVDs of them are difficult to find in stores. *honestly, sa bangketa lang tlga ako naghahanap* sa bangketa, wala rin. or minsan, walang time. haha.

other Christians find the music below, questionable..

contemporary Christian rock, for me, wants to draw both Christian and non-Christian listeners to their music..

so, when someone told me, FlyLeaf, Underoath, Paramore are Christian bands, i was skeptical.

kasi naman, when we say Christian music, their lyrics should be talking about Jesus.

in some lyrics, i never heard them say 'i love you Jesus' or just even mention Jesus' name in the song, because, they also wanted non-Christians to listen to them.

it was also a question mark in me when they said P.O.D. is a Christian band.

its kinda confusing.

becoming more LIKE Him is the greatest challenge of being a Christian.

it means, we become less like ourselves *madamot, masungit, walang pasensiya, magalitin* and be more like Him. *loving, gentle, slow to anger, quick to forgive*

as human beings, we make mistakes.

minsan, may mga nasasabi tayong hindi maganda, may mga nagagawa tayong mali, pero, He always reminds us, to think twice, before we tell a lie, before we punch a brother's face, before we join a drinking spree.

to be more like Jesus, we need to fill ourselves with His Word.
